Description
The Connecticut Department of Housing's Recovery Housing Program is a pilot initiative designed to expand and improve transitional housing options for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Funded through the federal Recovery Housing Program under Section 8071 of the SUPPORT Act, this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) aims to foster independence, self-sufficiency, and holistic recovery by supporting projects that provide stable, recovery-focused housing and wraparound services. Eligible activities include acquisition, rehabilitation, construction, and rental assistance for recovery housing, all in alignment with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) requirements and the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) standards.
