Description
The Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grants are administered by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) with funding from the Mary P. Dolciani Halloran Foundation. They support projects that actively engage middle and high school students in challenging, enjoyable mathematics beyond the standard curriculum—not remediation. Projects should deepen mathematical interest, knowledge, confidence, and belonging while encouraging continued study in high school and college.
Funding can initiate new projects, expand existing enrichment programs, or adapt evidence-based practices to local contexts. Activities may take place after school, on weekends, during the school year, or in summer, but must sustain engagement rather than operate as stand-alone, single-day events. Partnerships between college or university mathematical sciences faculty and school mathematics teachers are strongly encouraged; projects originating in middle or high schools are of particular interest.
