Description
This fellowship is designed to foster the next generation of Huntington's disease (HD) researchers by supporting undergraduate and pre-medical students as they conduct focused, short-term summer research projects. Established in 2005 in honor of Donald A. King, the program aims to attract talented young scientists to HD research and advance understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying the disease. Fellows undertake a 10-week, full-time research project under the guidance of an experienced HD scientist at a U.S. institution, contributing to the field while gaining valuable laboratory experience.
