The Donald O. Henry Fellowship, administered by the American Center of Research (ACOR), provides support for archaeological research projects, publications, or related events in or about Jordan. The fellowship honors the legacy of Dr. Donald O. Henry, a distinguished scholar of Near Eastern prehistory and longtime leader in southern Jordan. While preference is given to projects focusing on prehistory and/or southern Jordan, proposals from all periods and locations within Jordan are welcome and encouraged. The award is intended to recognize and support the most compelling proposal each year.
