Description
The Donna Nigh Foundation’s Grants for Organizations program, offered through the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, supports Oklahoma service providers helping individuals with severe to profound intellectual and/or developmental disabilities become as self-sufficient as possible. Funding priorities include adaptations to buildings and property, adaptive developmental equipment, and programming expenses.
Established in 1985 by friends of Donna Nigh in recognition of her advocacy for Oklahoma residents with developmental disabilities, the foundation has helped thousands of Oklahomans and their families. Its work has supported people in private residences, group homes and schools. Organizational awards have funded accessible playground features, adaptive technology, sensory-friendly learning materials and equipment that expands work opportunities for clients.
