Description
The Doris Bloch Research Grant is offered by Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing to encourage nurses to advance nursing through research. Funding comes from a gift by the Doris Bloch Estate to the Sigma Foundation for Nursing’s Research Permanent Fund. Selection considers the quality of the proposed research, the applicant’s future promise, and the research budget.
The grant encourages applications from novice researchers who have received no other national research funds. These applicants receive preference when other aspects are equal, as do Sigma members when other qualifications are equal.
