    Description

The Pathways for Health Research Collective is offering a one-time collaborative funding opportunity through its More Than Medicine campaign, with application intake and review centralized at the Doris Duke Foundation. It seeks to demonstrate that rigorous health solutions science can improve health outcomes in the United States and build the case for sustained investment. Health solutions science addresses behavioral, clinical, social, economic, and environmental contributors to health and disease.

Projects must bring knowledge producers and users together to implement established evidence at greater-than-pilot scale. The emphasis is on prospectively defined, meaningful, quantitatively measurable improvements in health outcomes—or evidence-backed near-term proxies—within a feasible three-year plan. Projects should address significant health burdens, produce knowledge supporting replication, and demonstrate potential for process, policy, or practice innovation.
