Description
This forecasted opportunity from the Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) supports the Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Breakthrough Award Levels 1 and 2. The program seeks to fund innovative, high-impact research projects with strong potential to produce significant advances in breast cancer research. Projects must address at least one of the BCRP's overarching challenges or provide compelling justification for an exception.
Funding Level 1 and Level 2 applications are accepted. Level 2 also includes a Population Science Studies option, which, with strong justification, may be eligible for higher funding and an additional year of support. Applicants may apply as a single Principal Investigator (PI) or as a team with an Initiating PI and a Partnering PI (Partnering PI Option, PPIO).
