    Description

    The Downtown Revitalization Grant Program, administered by the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), provides funding to help Maine communities implement comprehensive and innovative strategies for revitalizing their downtown districts. The program encourages integrated projects that address public facilities, infrastructure, housing, and microenterprise needs, with the goal of attracting future public and private investment. Eligible projects must align with an actively maintained downtown revitalization plan and demonstrate benefit to low/moderate income persons or the elimination of slum/blight conditions.
