Description
The Downtown Revitalization Program, part of Missouri’s Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) Economic Development offerings, provides financial support to eligible Missouri communities aiming to renew and restore their downtown areas. The program targets the elimination of slum and blight conditions on commercial building facades, correction of code violations, and infrastructure projects that directly contribute to downtown revitalization. Eligible activities include both exterior and interior improvements for qualifying buildings and non-profit facilities, provided these efforts align with HUD’s slum and blight national objective and enhance the vitality and appeal of Missouri’s downtown districts.
