Description
The Downtown Transportation Fund provides financial assistance to Vermont municipalities for transportation-related capital improvements within or serving a State Designated Downtown Center. The fund aims to enhance infrastructure in public spaces, stimulate private investment, and foster community identity and pride. Eligible projects may include improvements to pedestrian and bicycle amenities, lighting, safety, wayfinding signage, ADA modifications, and other transportation facilities that support downtown revitalization and accessibility.
