The Dr. Constantin Cope Medical Student Research Award recognizes medical student research and introduces interested students to the broader interventional radiology community at the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting. Administered through the SIR Foundation’s Grants & Awards program, it honors the student author of an accepted abstract that best reflects the spirit of inventiveness and scientific purity.
The award is intended for medical students who have demonstrated an interest in interventional radiology as a career and participated meaningfully in original research. Rather than funding a new research project, it provides meeting registration and travel support so recipients can present their work and engage with the interventional radiology community.
