Description
The Dr. J.G. Hawkins Memorial Fund, administered by East Tennessee Foundation, supports medical care and treatment for rural Greene County, Tennessee residents who are underserved, uninsured, or underinsured, with particular emphasis on children. Established in 2011, the fund focuses on medically related transportation and bringing clinical services into underserved rural communities.
Organizations may propose either transportation that helps rural residents access medical care or traveling clinical or medical services delivered on a temporary or intermittent basis.
