Description
The Dr. John R. Hose P’97, P’00 Research Fellowship supports Brandeis undergraduates pursuing research or creative collaborations alongside faculty members. Offered through Undergraduate Research and Creative Collaborations (URCC), the fellowship funds intensive summer projects in any discipline and connects fellows with the university’s summer community of undergraduate researchers. It provides need-based stipends, with particular interest in supporting students who receive need-based financial aid.
Established in 2023 by members of the Hose family, the fellowship honors Dr. Hose’s commitment to education and the academic experience. During a 30-year Brandeis career advising four university presidents, he helped students identify faculty collaborations and opportunities to advance their careers and intellectual interests. The fellowship carries that legacy forward through student-driven projects and faculty mentorship.
