--- ## Description This travel award assists clinician members of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) with travel expenses to present scholarly work at the ACSM Annual Meeting. Established in honor of Dr. Lisa S. Krivickas, the award recognizes clinicians whose research and professional focus emulate her impactful contributions to sports medicine, exercise science, and gender equity in the field. Preference is given to physicians and medical students, but all clinicians involved in patient care are encouraged to apply. The recipient is expected to attend specific events at the ACSM Annual Meeting. --- ## Due Dates - March 2027 (anticipated/projected) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - $1,000 for travel expenses - 1 award given annually --- ## Eligibility - Must be an ACSM national member in good standing before applying (chapter membership alone does not qualify). - Open to MDs, DOs, PTs, ATCs, and other medical professionals involved in patient care, as well as students in these fields. - Applicant must be the first author and presenter of an abstract or presentation accepted at the ACSM Annual Meeting (preference for scientific abstracts/presentations). - Previous recipients of this award are not eligible. --- ## Application Process - Prepare your application materials, including proof of ACSM national membership, accepted abstract/presentation, and documentation showing you are the first author and presenter. - Apply via the [ACSM Application Portal](https://acsm.secure-platform.com/site/). - Award recipient must attend the Josephine L. Rathbone & Barbara L.
