--- ## Description This annual travel award, established in honor of Dr. Lisa S. Krivickas, supports a clinician member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in presenting scholarly work at the ACSM Annual Meeting. The award commemorates Dr. Krivickas’s legacy as a distinguished scholar, clinician, and advocate for gender equity in sports medicine, and aims to further her impact by enabling clinician scholars to share their research and advance the field. --- ## Due Dates - March 13, 2026: Submission deadline for Dr. Lisa S. Krivickas Clinician/Scholar Travel Award --- ## Funding Amount - $1,000 travel award - Only one award is given each year --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be ACSM national members in good standing prior to applying (chapter membership alone is not sufficient). - Open to MDs, DOs, PTs, ATCs, and other medical professionals involved in patient care, as well as students in these fields. - Applicants must be the first author and presenter of an abstract or presentation accepted at the ACSM Annual Meeting (preference given to scientific abstracts or presentations). - Preference is given to physicians (MD/DO or equivalent) and medical students with a research focus on sports medicine and exercise science. - Previous recipients of this award are not eligible. --- ## Application Process - Applications must be submitted through the [ACSM Foundation Application Portal](https://acsm.secure-platform.com/site/submissions/create?solicitationId=102016&force=True&skipCheckIfUserHasSubmissions=&createFromLinkedSolicitation=) by the deadline. - Applicants must ensure ACSM national membership is active at the time of application. - The winner is required to: - Attend the Josephine L. Rathbone & Barbara L.
