Description
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Fund is a permanently endowed fund of DuPage Foundation that carries forward Dr. King’s legacy of equality, justice, and unity in DuPage County. It supports local nonprofit work in health, human services, and education, with particular emphasis on organizations serving Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Grants are distributed through the Foundation’s Community Impact grant program rather than a separate Unity Fund application process. The fund is supported by proceeds from the annual DuPage County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Breakfast and contributions from community partners.
