The Drama Therapy Fund’s Continuing Education/Professional Development Grant helps professional drama therapists deepen and broaden their knowledge and skills through learning opportunities and resources that their workplaces cannot fund. The Fund is a nonprofit charitable organization supporting the development and growth of drama therapy and works alongside the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA).
Supported activities include training sessions, courses, workshops, and conferences other than NADTA conferences, provided they improve skills related to drama therapy work. The grant also supports books that provide continuing education and practice supplies such as mask-making materials, scarves, and costumes. Funding connects professional learning with the materials therapists use in their work.
