    Description

The Drama Therapy Fund offers this grant to encourage research that advances the field of drama therapy. It supports qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research using standard measurement methods, drama therapy measurement methods, or both. Applicants may propose a new project or seek renewed funding for an existing project that shows promise.

The Grant Committee encourages investigation of drama therapy’s clinical processes and demonstrable behavioral, attitudinal, or affective outcomes. It also recognizes the importance of research into artistic processes and aesthetic impact. Proposals focused on those dimensions must explicitly connect the research to clinical processes or behavioral outcomes. The Fund is a nonprofit charitable organization supporting the development and growth of drama therapy and works alongside the North American Drama Therapy Association.
