Description
The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan (SRF) Program, administered by the Kentucky Energy & Environment Cabinet in partnership with the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority and the Kentucky Division of Water, offers financial assistance to public and private drinking water systems across Kentucky. The program is designed to help these systems finance infrastructure improvements that ensure compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, as well as support initiatives such as source water protection, wellhead protection, technical assistance for small systems, and state program administration. Funding is provided through low- or no-interest loans, with potential partial loan forgiveness for eligible entities, to safeguard and improve Kentucky’s drinking water resources.
