Description
The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), administered by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), supports the improvement, protection, and sustainability of public water systems throughout New Hampshire. The program offers low-interest loans and, for eligible projects, principal forgiveness to publicly and privately owned community water systems and non-transient, non-profit water systems. Funding is available for a wide array of infrastructure projects—such as replacing aging water pipes, upgrading treatment systems, constructing storage tanks, and installing new wells—as well as for proactive water safety measures including source water protection, operator certification, and technical assistance for small systems.
