Description
The Society of Pediatric Psychology (SPP), Division 54 of the American Psychological Association, offers this grant to support research in pediatric psychology and the research training of future pediatric psychologists. Projects must address an area specific to pediatric psychology and be conducted under a faculty advisor’s supervision while the applicant is a postdoctoral fellow. The award also supports limited travel for research training, collaboration, or presenting research findings.
The program is supported by Peggy Crawford, PhD, her late husband Dennis (“Denny”) Drotar, PhD, and an anonymous donor. Drotar was a former SPP president and editor of the Journal of Pediatric Psychology whose commitment to training and research mentoring is central to the grant’s purpose.
