Description
The Dry Cleaning Establishment Remediation Fund provides financial assistance to eligible dry cleaning business operators and property owners in Connecticut for the assessment, cleanup, containment, or mitigation of pollution caused by chemicals used in dry cleaning. The fund also supports preventative measures and the provision of potable drinking water where necessary. Grants are distributed on a reimbursement basis and are intended to help offset the environmental and public health impacts of dry cleaning operations. The program is administered by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), in collaboration with the Department of Revenue Services (DRS).
