Description
This grant program, administered by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security through the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO), is designed to strengthen the prosecution of impaired driving cases statewide. Funding supports specialized DUI prosecutors and coordinators within judicial districts, as well as the Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) program, which provides legal research, consultation, and training to law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, defense attorneys, legislators, and the public.
