Description
The E. Richard Booser Scholarship provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to participate in tribology research, encouraging them to pursue graduate degrees or careers in the field. Offered by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), it is part of the Presidential Awards Program, administered by the STLE Presidential Council. The program subsidizes research related to tribology or lubrication engineering.
The scholarship emphasizes the research’s relevance to tribology and the quality of the proposed research experience. Selection also considers a recommendation from a faculty advisor or educator.
