Description
VentureWell’s E-Team Program helps student ventures advance science- and engineering-based inventions from the lab toward the market. Part of VentureWell’s accelerator programming, it combines non-dilutive grants with entrepreneurship training, dedicated staff mentorship, national recognition, and connections to peers and industry experts. The program supports early-stage innovations that can scale to address pressing social, health, or environmental needs, including health, food security, energy, and climate change.
Teams begin with Pioneer, which helps them identify the best market for their invention and explore possible venture pathways. After successfully completing Pioneer, teams may apply to Propel for three months of training focused on building a business model canvas and planning tests of business hypotheses. Training combines lean startup principles with company building and professional development.
