Description
The European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), part of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), offers research grants supporting specialised work in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging. The programme covers echocardiography, cardiovascular magnetic resonance, nuclear cardiology and cardiac computed tomography. Recipients spend a year at a high-standard academic centre, university hospital or similar institution in an ESC Member country outside their own country.
The programme aims to develop research experience and skills while fostering geographical mobility, cultural exchange and professional practice in cardiology. Applicants must identify a supervisor and host centre with the expertise, facilities and research opportunities appropriate to their proposed project. The opportunity is intended for full-time research rather than an extension of an existing grant-supported stay abroad.
