Description
The Early-Career Awards, part of the OSUCCC – James Intramural Research Program (IRP), are designed to support promising early-career faculty at The Ohio State University who are engaged in cancer-focused research. The awards emphasize mentored career development, providing resources and structured guidance to help recipients progress toward independent research funding, particularly targeting future NCI R01 grants. Awardees must submit a comprehensive career development plan, engage at least one experienced mentor (preferably two with complementary expertise), and outline both their scientific vision and institutional support for their career advancement.
