Description
This program, administered by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), recognizes and supports early career educators of color who are committed to building accomplished careers in literacy education. Awardees participate in a two-year leadership initiative, including mentorship, professional collaboration, and opportunities to present at national NCTE events. The program covers major expenses for attending both a dedicated summer institute and the NCTE Annual Convention, while also fostering a national network of peers and leaders in English education.
