    Description

The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) offers the Early Career Faculty Travel Award to support attendance and research presentation at Anatomy Connected, its annual meeting. The award is part of AAA’s broader meeting travel support for students, postdocs, and early-career members. The Committee for Early-Career Anatomists (CECA) reviews and scores abstracts, selecting the top five for awards.

The competition prioritizes research-focused, non-descriptive presentations while encouraging descriptive submissions. Scientific and educational research are evaluated using the scientific process. Work based on previously published research is eligible only when it represents further progression of that research. Awards recognize selected research and are presented at the meeting’s Closing Awards Ceremony.
