Description
The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) gives four Early-Career Investigator Awards for significant research contributions in cell and molecular biology, developmental biology, comparative neuroanatomy, and the morphological sciences. These are awards for work already accomplished, rather than funding for a proposed project.
The awards also recognize investigators whose current work and future potential are especially promising. Selection considers whether nominees can communicate their research in an engaging lecture that scientists across subdisciplines can understand. Recipients receive recognition at the 2027 Anatomy Connected Meeting.
