Description
The Institute of Physics (IOP) administers this fund to help early career researchers broaden their professional development and maximise their potential. It supports attendance at international meetings and visits to international facilities by people whose primary work is research or the application of physics.
The bursary is intended to supplement other funding, rather than cover the full cost of a conference or facility visit. The proposed activity must relate to an IOP group to which the applicant belongs. The relevant group decides whether to make an award and how much to provide.
