Description
The Society of Interventional Radiology’s Early Career Section presents the Recognizing Inspirational Service & Engagement (RISE) Award annually to honor an individual who has consistently supported early career interventional radiologists. The award recognizes leadership through mentorship, community-building and advocacy, with particular attention to service that advances the careers of early career attendings in interventional radiology.
Inspired by the energy and community spirit of the 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting, RISE celebrates a sustained record of service to the early career professional community. It is recognition of an individual’s contributions rather than funding for a research study or project. The award is presented at the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting.
