Description
The Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP), Division 2 of the American Psychological Association, provides travel grants to help early career psychology educators attend psychology teaching conferences or conferences with a significant teaching-of-psychology component. The program focuses on how the proposed conference experience can improve the applicant’s teaching of psychology.
STP encourages applications from colleagues from underrepresented groups and those with diverse backgrounds and experiences, consistent with its mission and commitment to addressing systemic racism and inequity. First-time recipients and applicants presenting research related to the scholarship of teaching and learning receive priority. The program supports conference participation through both attendance and presentation of teaching-related scholarship.
