Description
The Vermont Arts Council’s Early Childhood Arts Partnership Grants support preschool-aged children and teachers in early education programs with opportunities to think, create, and learn through the arts. Projects bring arts or arts-integrated instruction into preschool classrooms through partnerships among early childhood education providers, arts organizations, and qualified Vermont teaching artists. The program aims to expand access to the arts, engage families, and strengthen children’s creativity, communication, self-expression, and emotional development.
Supported activities can include multi-day teaching artist residencies, work toward arts-integrated learning outcomes, and collaboration that helps classroom teachers incorporate the arts during and beyond the project. The Council prioritizes proposals responsive to their learning communities and seeks to spread funding across Vermont communities.
