    Description

The East-West Center’s Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) brings together a cohort of 3–4 established professionals to deepen their engagement with leadership education and development. Fellows contribute their expertise by co-designing and delivering learning experiences within the Center’s Asia-Pacific Leadership Program, while pursuing independent research, reflection, and professional exploration. The program is designed for professionals with approximately 10–15 years of experience seeking to transition into or expand leadership development work in any sector.

Each fellow develops a Professional Development Plan outlining learning objectives, anticipated activities, and desired outcomes, with support from the Leadership Program team. Peer coaching, networking, and participation in Center seminars and events complement this work. Intended outcomes include stronger facilitation skills, progress from ideas toward action, clearer professional direction, and increased reflective leadership practice and confidence.
