Description
This grant aims to fund projects that significantly impact education, workforce, and economic development within the Eastern Oregon Border Region. It is designed to mobilize the local workforce by supporting targeted investments in equipment, facility upgrades, start-up costs, expansion, and other services related to housing, childcare, transportation, and accessibility. The program prioritizes projects that enhance regional prosperity, improve the property tax base, boost competitiveness with Idaho, increase workforce availability and skills, improve the region's image, and leverage outside funding. The grant is administered by the Oregon Community Foundation in partnership with the Eastern Oregon Border Economic Development Board.
