ECASU Messaging Campaigns (ECASU-MC) supports Delaware organizations in creating community education campaigns about opioid and stimulant use disorders to build awareness and reduce stigma.

Description
The Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) runs ECASU Messaging Campaigns through its federally funded State Opioid Response initiative. The program provides short-term funding for organizations to plan and carry out local, countywide, or statewide campaigns about opioid use disorder (OUD) and stimulant use disorder (STUD) in Delaware.
Campaigns must increase awareness and education, reduce stigma, or do both. Approaches may include workshops, family education, social media, public service announcements, and storytelling. Messages should share accurate information, use channels suited to the intended community, and be accessible and tailored to that community. Limited technical assistance and implementation support is available to awardees.
