Description
The ECCO Fellowship is designed to support early career basic or clinical scientists working in any area related to Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). The program enables fellows to undertake innovative research projects at European centres outside their own, aiming to advance the field of IBD through scientific exchange and professional development. Both the fellow and the host institution are jointly responsible for the success of the fellowship, which emphasizes originality, methodological rigor, feasibility, and the international scientific standing of the research team. Awardees are expected to contribute to the IBD research community and disseminate their findings through publications and presentations, acknowledging ECCO’s support.
