Description
ECMC Foundation funds project-based work to improve persistence and credential completion for undergraduate students from underserved backgrounds. Its North Star goal is to eliminate gaps in postsecondary completion. The foundation’s three strategic priorities are removing barriers to completion, building institutional and system capacity, and transforming the postsecondary ecosystem. It favors reforms that serve students furthest from opportunity, reach broad and diverse populations, and offer a path to lasting impact.
The foundation also funds research that can inform data-driven decisions and evidence-based postsecondary policy. All research it funds must be freely and continuously accessible to the public upon completion of the project or a portion of a larger project.
