Description
The Initiative Foundation’s Economic, Community, Workforce Development Grants support early-stage, pilot, and innovative efforts across Central Minnesota. The program focuses on projects that strengthen communities, expand economic opportunity, and build a thriving workforce. Its shared goal is to support strong communities and a resilient regional economy.
Applicants choose one of three distinct grant options: Economic Development, Community, or Workforce. These options bring together the Foundation’s community and economic development priorities while allowing applicants to select the focus that fits their project. The opportunity is open to local units of government, tribal governments, and economic development nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status.
