This fellowship program, offered by the Economic History Society in partnership with the Institute of Historical Research (IHR), provides up to three one-year postdoctoral fellowships annually for scholars in economic and/or social history. Fellows are expected to pursue advanced research with a view to publication, participate in the academic life of the IHR (including seminars and collaborations), and contribute to the wider field through engagement and scholarly output. The fellowship aims to help early career researchers strengthen their research record and develop their careers in economic and social history.
