The Economic History Society Fellowships, in partnership with the Institute of Historical Research (IHR), provide up to three one-year postdoctoral positions annually for researchers in economic and/or social history. Fellows are based at the IHR and are expected to engage actively in its academic community, including regular seminar participation, presenting research, and supporting fellow scholars. The fellowship aims to foster high-quality research suitable for publication in leading journals, and to help early career researchers strengthen their academic profiles.
