    Description

The Economic History Society, in conjunction with the Institute of Historical Research (IHR), offers postdoctoral visiting fellowships tenable at the IHR. The programme supports new researchers across a broad range of economic and social history, helping them strengthen their research records and develop careers that sustain high-quality research. It prioritises work with prospects for publication in leading refereed journals or monograph series.

Fellows join the IHR’s scholarly community, sharing research through seminars and exchanging information and assistance with scholars in related fields. Support includes access to the Wohl Library, electronic resources, free research training courses and tailored workshops. Mentorship and career guidance cover publication plans, research grant applications, job applications and interviews.
