Description
The Fund for Medical Discovery (FMD) Fellowship Awards, administered by the Executive Committee on Research (ECOR) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), provide one-year salary support for MD and PhD research fellows and clinical research fellows in their training phase at MGH. These fellowships are designed to foster early-career research across the full translational spectrum—from basic science to clinical and population health sciences. Three award categories are available: fundamental research, clinical research, and population healthcare sciences. The program aims to recognize and support promising trainees, encourage innovative research, and promote career development within MGH.
