The East Central Regional Arts Council (ECRAC) Resiliency Grant supports artists, culture bearers, and arts organizations whose creative work faces unexpected circumstances, urgent needs, sudden opportunities, or barriers resulting from systemic inequities. Projects may use any artistic discipline consistent with ECRAC’s definition of art, with online, in-person, or hybrid approaches.
Funded projects must directly benefit a Region 7E artist or arts organization and provide public engagement or benefit to Minnesota residents. Public sharing may include an event, online presentation, or photos and videos shared through a website or social media. Applicants explain the circumstance prompting their request, their proposed response, its expected impact, public engagement, measures of success, and use of funds. The program is supported by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
