The East Central Regional Arts Council’s Resiliency Grant supports artists, culture bearers, and arts organizations whose creative work is affected by unexpected circumstances, urgent needs, sudden opportunities, or barriers resulting from systemic inequities. Projects may use any artistic discipline consistent with ECRAC’s definition of art and may be online, in person, or hybrid. Examples include equipment replacement connected to a project, time-sensitive collaborations, pop-up exhibitions, and cultural gatherings.
Funded projects must directly benefit a Region 7E artist or arts organization and include an accessible public component benefiting Minnesota residents. Public engagement can be an event, online presentation, or sharing project photos or videos. Supported by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, the program connects artistic practice and cultural expression with community access, inclusion, and measurable public benefit.
