Key Information: Applicants should not have previously worked at the proposed host institution or under the proposed mentor.
The ECTRIMS-MEDEN Fellowship Programme is a joint initiative of ECTRIMS and the MOGAD Eugene Devic European Network. It provides scientists and physicians with a year of mentored research experience focused on neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) and myelin oligodendrocyte antibody associated disorder (MOGAD), while fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across Europe.
Fellows may undertake a priority project at a MEDEN network site or propose a separate basic, clinical, or applied research project with their host mentor. Proposals may address a priority research theme or one of MEDEN’s four working groups: clinical, biomarkers, treatment, and pregnancy. The programme aims to align research with urgent needs in the specialty. A review board representing ECTRIMS and MEDEN selects recipients.
