The ECTRIMS Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme supports young neuroscientists undertaking mentored basic, clinical, or applied research on multiple sclerosis (MS) and related diseases. Run by the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis, the programme aims to maximise knowledge exchange and expand the pool of well-trained scientists focused on MS research and treatment.
Scientists and physicians of any nationality may undertake one or two years of research training in a European laboratory or clinic. Applicants develop a research project with a proposed host mentor, combining scientific investigation with professional development. The programme emphasises cross-border exchange, research quality and innovation, and the applicant’s plans to apply the training in their future career.
