Summary: Supports projects that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion or outreach within the molecular biosciences, especially for underrepresented groups.
This grant program funds innovative projects that strengthen inclusion, diversity, and outreach in the molecular biosciences. The scheme is designed to support activities that promote EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion) principles and/or develop outreach to underrepresented or minoritized communities. Eligible projects may include community science events, accessible resource development, EDI training, cross-disciplinary inclusion efforts, mentoring, and engagement with schools or groups facing barriers to participation. The Biochemical Society encourages creative approaches that enhance public understanding, remove participation barriers, elevate underrepresented voices, and foster a more accessible and inclusive environment across education, research, and public engagement.
