The Biochemical Society's EDI and Outreach Grants are designed to foster inclusion and participation within the molecular biosciences by supporting creative projects that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) or broaden outreach to underrepresented communities. The scheme welcomes proposals for activities such as community science events, EDI training, accessible teaching resources, mentoring schemes, and other innovative approaches that enhance public understanding, reduce barriers, and create a more inclusive environment in education, research, and public engagement. Projects must demonstrate a clear link to the molecular biosciences and be sustainable, scalable, or repeatable.
