--- ## Description The Edna W. Andrade Grants, administered by The Philadelphia Foundation, are designed to support local or national museums and nonprofit art organizations in projects that benefit visual fine artists from the Greater Philadelphia area. The grants fund the purchase or commission of works of art, one-person exhibitions, and the initiation or continuation of educational, cultural, humanitarian, or environmental projects involving visual artists. The focus is on artists working in two- or three-dimensional media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, or sculpture, with the primary aim of advancing the visual arts in the Greater Philadelphia region. --- ## Due Dates - May 7, 2026: Full application / Application deadline --- ## Funding Amount - Grants range from $5,000 to $25,000. - Awards are typically for one-year projects. - Funding cannot be used for activities completed prior to the application. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. - Must have created, curated, produced, or presented at least three professional public exhibits or projects within the last five years. - Religious institutions may apply only for nonsectarian activities. - Organizations must have a non-discrimination policy covering all legally protected characteristics. - Projects must benefit visual fine artists from the Greater Philadelphia area, defined as: - Pennsylvania: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties - New Jersey: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Mercer counties - **Not eligible:** Individual artists, private foundations, intermediary funding agencies, government agencies, endowment or capital projects/campaigns, advocacy, or lobbying activities. --- ## Application Process 1. **Determine Eligibility:** Review the criteria to ensure your organization qualifies. 2. **Apply Online:** Complete and submit the application by May 7, 2026.
